This works well for any rough skin on the bottoms or edges of toes - it is flexible so you can file what you want, and small enough that you can avoid what you don't want to file. A good complement to the Diamancel #10 that I've had for years. It is a little underwhelming for the price, but I don't know of any product like it, and I've been looking. If it lasts, it will be worth it. I am giving it four stars because of price and because I think that the grit on the file could be a little rougher. A note that some of the reviewers indicated this didn't work well for cuticles - I agree, but that's not the product's purpose.

I followed the instructions, however, this product did not make it through the first use. With just a few glides, the texture started to breakdown and rub off. I cleaned it and tried again, but the same thing happened. There is a worn spot on the file and I didn't get to manicure even one hand.
So disappointing since it appeared to be a durable product that I could use for a long time before needing to replace. I'm getting a refund and returning the file.

Product was advertised to buff away rough skin from heels, toes, and cuticles. works just okay on feet but fails totally on all cuticles - "diamond" buffer surface doesn't extend to very edge of product, so it's very difficult to reach the edges of cuticles . Further, as a woman who is on a continual mission for good nail products, particularly nail files and rough skin removers, I've had equally good results from the $10 Ped Egg or any pumice stone type product. I was swayed by the price, thinking it MUST be something special; I was a schmuck, and will neither buy this again.nor recommend it to anyone else.

This is the only implement I've found just for "sanding" the tough skin around the tips of the fingers. I think it does a good job. I would purchase again.

Yes, expensive...but WORTH IT! I've been through so many files and buffing blocks, looking for the one to tame my cuticles and THIS IS IT! No more cuticle nippers for me!

I thought this was really expensive for a file - but this is the best! I use it on my tough cuticles - it trims them down so I don't pick at them. Worth the investment.

This is the size of a wide emery board. It didn't remove any rough skin on my hands.
