I have very fine hair and many products feel heavy, I didn't experiance that with these products. I love the smell and as long as you follow the directions to the letter they work very well. I use it about once a week and my hair and scalp feel great after the treatment. You have to make sure you have lots of time to let the oil sit on your hair for maximum benefit. Thank you Philip b for making a great cruelty free product.

I absolutely LOVE Philip B! This is an amazing hair conditioning set. If you follow the directions, you'll be in for some soft, manageable and awesome feeling hair. I have a lot of hair but it's fine, so a lot of products weigh it down very quickly. This does not do that. I recommend this to everyone!

I am an African American woman that knows not all products can be used on my hair, so I emailed someone at Philip B. to get more information about the products. Debbie emailed me to tell me that they have several woman of color that uses their products with no problems. I was also reluctant because of the price, but after I purchased the products and used them. It is the BEST treatment I could do to my hair! You do have the follow the directions as stated on the bottles and do not use more than what is needed other wise it will way your hair down. There has not been a Philip B. product that I have used that I do not like and believe me I have used my share, since last year a hairdresser put too many chemicals in my hair and 3/4 of it hair fell out.

I used it twice and my hair felt so gross and sticky and weighed down. No shine whatsoever. I couldn't run my hand through it either because it was so tangled and matted. This happened twice and I really rinsed my hair well. The first time it happened I used the oil, so I thought maybe I didn't get all the oil out. But then I used the shampoo, conditioner, and rinse (in other words, no oil) and my hair was still yucky and matted. I had bought this kit a few years ago and thought it was good then so I bought another one a few weeks ago. I don't know if they changed the formulation or what, but it was really awful. I can't recommend this product, especially at the price.

I cannot say enough good things about this set! I use it about twice a month and it makes my hair incredibly soft and shiny - it looks like I had my hair done professionally after I use the treatment. It seems expensive, but for four great products, it is totally worth it. Also, if you only use it a few times a month, the set will last you for a long time. I bought the kit to start, and then I rebuy the individual products as I run out. I buy the oil every couple of months, the shampoo and conditioner about twice a year, and the finishing spray about once a year - and I have long hair.

I was bit reluctant to purchase this product due to its cost; however, it is worth every cent! I have dry, damaged, frizzy hair on which nothing works. Even the most moisturizing products only build up on my scalp while providing no added benefit to the hi-lighted, flat-ironed, and otherwise tortured ends of my hair. If you, like me, just want the ends of your hair to feel smooth, this is the product for you.
