I used to use Vidal Sassoon straightener but it was discontinued about 4 years ago. I have almost completely run out and have been panicked about finding a product that was not greasy and would not weigh my hair down. I have fragrance allergies so I need to be careful about what I use. I have curly/wavy hair that has a mind of its own. I just used this product and had to only use my flat iron in a few places. My hair is full and is holding the style, no hair spray used. I cannot wait to see what this product does in the North Carolina summers! Definitely a keeper.

I have extremely thick, wavy hair that does just not look good when left to dry on it's own. It's also very long right now because I'm going to donate it. That said, I always had to iron my hair after blow-drying because it was too puffy and not as straight as I'd like, even after using other products - and I've tried many!

I am happy to say that I no longer have to iron my hair after blow-drying! I followed the instructions and my hair was straight and smooth and still had nice body to it, which I felt sometimes was lacking after ironing. I use a dab of Biosilk on it once it's dry and I am good to go!

I am so happy I found this product after literally years of searching for something that worked this well. I usually don't write reviews but I had to for this. I highly recommend this for thick, wavy hair like mine!

For me this product does not seem to work. I don't see any difference when I use it from when I don't. I do have frizzy hair and still do after using the product (maybe slighlty less).

I'm 54 years old and have extremely thick wavy hair. I've never been able to blow and go. Someone at [@]told me abut this product, so I tried it. Unbelievable that after all these years, I can finally blow dry and go. My hair feels silky, goes stick straight, yet has body. One reviewer said the humidity lessens the results she gets but I've not yet had humid weather around here. Will be anxious to see how it lasts when it gets humid.

I have naturally wavy hair that is frizzy. I swear by this product when I style my hair after washing it to make it look and stay straight and frizz free. It works extremely well. What's great about it is that it's lightweight and your hair does not feel like it has any product in it. It's worth every penny and works better than all other relaxers/anti-frizz products.

I use this product after conditioning, before blow-drying . I have very thick, wavy hair, and it helps keep my hair from getting too "big". When I ran out of this product a few months ago, I tried another straightening product, but came back to Phillip B. There was no comparison.
Having said that, I must add that I use a ceramic straightener after blow drying, but without Phillip B. straightener, my hair would be a dry, wavy mess. It's easy to apply, you don't need a lot, and it makes blow drying so much easier. I would recommend it to anyone. Strangers stop me all the time to compliment me on my hair.

This product is very unique because it does not contain any silicone. Majority of styling products are saturated with silicones. This does a great job in straightening my hair. I have my share of newbee little hairs that rebel all the time and make my hair puffy. I also have a lot of curl and waive. This straightens and gets rid of frizz, but retains a great body. Follow the instructions and make sure that your hair gets completely dry. I apply this to my towel dried hair and then blow dry my hair until it is completely dry. Then I used a big curling iron and curl the ends of my hair. My hair is to my waist and this does wonders in making my hair look great all the time.

I have tried several other products to straighten my hair. None of them have worked as well as this. I live in a very humid climate, and this product not only helps me to get my hair straight with a flat iron, BUT it also keeps my hair from soaking up the humidity the minute I walk outside.

I don't really think this product works. I have frizzy, curly hair and use it before I flat-iron my hair. I let it air dry with the product in it, and it still looks frizzy and there's no way I could go out with my hair like that if I just left the product in and left it.
