Comments about Mason Pearson Boar Bristle Hairbrush, Handy Bristle, 1 ea:
While the brush is gentle it will probably take time to work up to 3-5 minutes of use per day to avoid scalp irritation. The handle is plastic which I later found out is the only option for the size. But it still appears to be a quality handle. The box was very beat up but the instructions were included and the brush was not damaged.

Comments about Mason Pearson Boar Bristle Hairbrush, Handy Bristle, 1 ea:
I was not at all impressed with this hair brush. First of all, it's made of a very lightweight, cheap molded plastic. Secondly, the bristles are incredibly stiff and hurt my scalp. Lastly, I used it once and it added a great deal of static electricity to my hair (I have fine hair). I don't understand why these brushes are so expensive. It certainly didn't feel like a quality hair brush.

Comments about Mason Pearson Boar Bristle Hairbrush, Handy Bristle, 1 ea:
I Love my Mason Pearson brush. It is one of my prized possessions. It makes my hair shine and my scalp feel so good. It doesn't pull on the hair and break it at all. Having the best tool for the best job is what this brush is about. Quality bristles are a far cry from the cheap brushes you get at the store. A brush DOES make a difference. The pocket size is perfect for my purse and works for my medium fine hair. I'm saving for the handy size too! I will never be without a Mason Pearson for quality & health.

Comments about Mason Pearson Boar Bristle Hairbrush, Handy Bristle, 1 ea:
I was so not prepared for this experience with a [$] brush! The bristles are like cheap, sharp plastic - it hurts to use this. I have short-to-medium length hair of fine-to-medium texture. This is the wrong brush for me. If you're going for a Mason-Pearson, try the nylon-bristle combo. Your scalp will thank you. Personally, I'm going to return to my $25 Bass bristle and nylon brush - a far superior product for a fraction of the cost.

Comments about Mason Pearson Boar Bristle Hairbrush, Handy Bristle, 1 ea:
I have been following the old rule about brushing your hair 100 strokes a day and I have been using this brush for over two weeks. My hair has never responded to any product the way it does to using this brush. It is shiny and more manageable and it appears to me that it is growing faster than it ever has.

I've used this brush daily for around ten years. It still works as if it were brand new. If I ever need to replace it I'll buy the same brush. Highly recommend!

I've noticed shinier hair and a healthier scalp since I started using this brush twice a day. The size is ideal for my fairly short hair.

I really like this brush. I feel like I get a good scalp massage every time I use it. It's gentle on the hair too, no pulling.
