Brushing with a Mason Pearson Hair Brush is the best way to distribute the natural oils while exfoliating the scalp and stimulating circulation to the hair follicles. The patented pneumatic cushion conforms to the contours of the scalp, which optimizes brushing with minimal effort. All Mason Pearson Hair Brushes are hand made in England and carry a one year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. The animals are not harmed in the collection of the boar bristle. (Nylon cleaning brush is included.) This "Pure Boar Bristle" is specifically for brushing through fine to normal hair types. Since the function of the brush is to clean soil from the hair the brush should be cleansed frequently. A cleaning brush is included with all brushed (except pocket and child sizes) which is used to remove trapped hair and scales from the bristles. |

This brush is an investment, but well worth it. I bought for my daughter who has very fine curly hair. All other brushes I tried hurt her, but this one gets the knots out of her hair easily. This will be a brush she uses for many many years. Great for fine curly hair. This brush is small for an adult, but perfect for children.

Well made brush, but meant for children or very short thin hair. I gave it to my husband and ordered a bigger one.

I've been using these brushes for over 20 years and they are wonderful and very durable. They really last and you are getting serious quality. I've long hair and I find these brushes treat it the best.

Are you kidding me???
I have very fine, very long hair that's easily overworked with heat, wind, and water. This brush doesn't do anything spectacular for my hair and even increases the STATIC charge after I use it. This brush is ridiculously overpriced for what it's worth. It's just boar bristles. How different can the boar bristles the Mason Pearson company uses be from any other company that manufacturs boar bristle brushes? Save your money and get something else exactly the same without the name brand hype.

Wow, after years of reading how great Mason Pearson brushes are, I decided to finally buy the pocket size pure bristle brush and was not disappointed. It's fabulous. It's hard to describe how differently it brushes your hair but I get instantly better shine and increased volume when I use it. I also like the detangling comb. Both of these products make a huge difference when styling.
