This tinted gel cream is wonderful! Actually I have combination skin. After using this product, the dry area on my face is not dry any more, and it doesn't make my oily area shine as well. And it has a beautiful dewy finish. If you are more of a matte person, definitely set it with powder. I do find that if you apply this product with finger or beauty blender, the coverage is quite sheer, it can only even out your skin tone. But if you apply it with a flat top foundation brush, it offers medium coverage. The only downside for me is that, I'm always a light skin tone person, so I got that shade buttercream. It is a little bit darker for me actually. But the vanilla is at the same time too pinky for me.
