The color you see is the color it appears on your lips and it does not change like some lipsticks do. The color is bold from just one swipe. It is moisturizing without a lot of slip. I do like Vera but Vivien is perhaps a little better because it is a little less pink and more berry but they are very close. This lipstick is long lasting on and the tube will last a very long time.

This lipstick is not marketed as a long lasting lipstick, but it does last quite a long time. It's not transfer-proof, but it doesn't transfer heavily. It is not necessarily moisturizing, but it isn't drying. Formula is a satin finish with great opacity. I've seen women of all skin tones rave about these lipsticks.
