Take a quick shower; do not soak. Use a body wash or shower gel. Gently exfoliate with a soft washcloth while in the shower. Be careful not to overdo it. Towel dry completely. Apply a light layer of Paula's Choice body moisturizer. Apply the self-tanning foam evenly and smoothly, one area at a time. Wash hands thoroughly; use a nail brush to avoid tan palms and cuticles. Do not use any additional skin-care products for at least one hour after application. Wait five minutes to avoid staining fabric before dressing or getting into bed. Your "tan" should develop within 1-3 hours and may continue to deepen for a few hours after that. If desired level of color is not achieved after one application, simply reapply and your "tan" will deepen. Once you are satisfied with the results, reapply every few days to maintain depth of color.

I also have to totally disagree with the earlier post. This product is amazing! I've used it twice so far, with 1 day in between each use and my tan looks so natural. It dries fast, goes on really easy and evenly, and creates a gorgeous tan. It looked great after the first application, but I wanted a bit darker, so went for a second and the color is perfect! I'm only bummed I wasted $60 on a spray tan recently - I could've easily just used this.
Definitely recommend.

I beg to differ with the other reviewer. I love this product. I use it to give me a light tan in the fall winter and a medium/dark tan in the summer. I moisturize my skin using Paula's products and then use one layer of this wonderful foam on my face, neck, etc. Wait an hour and then apply another layer to obtain a medium tan. In the summer I have to apply an additional layer to get a nice, dark tan. This foam dries quickly and there is no smell. Compared to other brands, this stuff is wonderfully priced.

The only thing I liked about this product was that it never had that horrible self tanning smell. Unfortunately nothing else was good about it. The color guide was much too light. It took forever for the color to develop, over 8+ hours. When it finally did develop the color was very uneven leaving splotchy marks all over my legs, hand and arms. And it did not fade well either. I just threw away the rest of the product. I would not use it again. Overall it was a waste of time and money.
