Starting at the root of your lashes, hold the Tightline™ Slim Wand horizontally, then wiggle and sweep the brush up and through your lashes from the very base through to the tips. This has been a real find for me! It give a natural yet defined look - your lashes but better kind of thing. And importantly it does Not sting or bother my super sensitive rosacea eyes. It does give a very natural tight line effect. If I apply more generously I can get a bit more drama too. I have such a hard time finding nice mascara that doesn't sting or irritate my eyes. I found one or two that were ok with Paula's Choice and a Canadian 'natural cosmetics' company but then they reformulated and so caused singing and irritation. This one is the best I've found and it doesn't flake or look clumpy. My only complaint (and it's very minor) is the wand - really the handle - the wand brush is nice and gentle and helps achieve the tight line - but the handle is too long and makes application a bit harder than needed. That said, it's generally super easy to apply and I hope they never stop making this or reformulate.

I like this mascara a lot. I love the brush and that you can get right down to the root. It's great for separating, defining, and lengthening lashes, and it really does give a tightline effect. It's a very natural look that could almost pass as completely natural except that my hair is not naturally that dark. I haven't experienced any flaking, smudging or clumping. My only complaint is that it doesn't add much volume. I will continue using but I think I'll put something more dramatic on top of it.

Makes the eyes bigger and brighter though does not line as easily as stated in the product description. Gives a beautiful natural effect. I find that I don't even have to curl my lashes with it. Not that it curls, but lash imperfections are not . I think that this will eventually replace all other mascara I have used in the past. It would be nice if they made a product in dark purple or navy blue color. Only con is that it flakes a bit during application.

Love this product! Just lay it horizontally against your eyelid and it effortlessly tight lines your eye. Also is a great mascara.

Ok my shameful secret...this used alone looks so natural it doesn't look like you are wearing mascara but is gorgeous. I tell people I have no makeup on when I'm really wearing this and a light dusting of the Celebration powder foundation, brow power, and a teensy bit of cheek stain. Yep! I'm an It girl! I've been using It since 2009 and I am addicted!
Besides being a great primer, the comb inside works to separate lashes after the layering of Hello Lashes if needed. It also gets the tiny inner lashes and grabs the tiny bottom lashes just great!
