I bought this as a gift & ended up keeping it myself since the bag it came in was so lovely. The powder coverage is great, doesn't look cakey like some powders & it covers imperfections quite well. I do think it may break me out occasionally though. I typically don't wear powder alone & the times I've used this was later in the day when I decided I was running somewhere really quick & didn't want to go to the trouble of putting on a cream foundation, so it could be that my face was already oily & if I'd applied at first of the day on freshly washed skin, I'd not had a breakout issue.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
