I received a sample of this w/an order,...I was hesitant to use it because I have very fine, limp hair & the word "moisturizing" usually means very limp hair. But since my hair is damaged & dry due to coloring & heat drying,..I figure why not give it a shot? It did a fantastic job of making my hair seem in better condition without,...making it limp!!! My hair was softer and felt lighter and was not as bone dry. Easier to manage too. Wonderful product. I would have liked it if it didn't contain sodium laurel sulfate,..bad for colored hair & just not good in general,..but ok. So I'm here to order a bottle of it today.

The shampoo was really liquid, which means you have to use a whole lot, and it comes out of the bottle really fast, so spills all over. Meaning one uses twice as much (at least) as any other shampoo I have ever used. I thought it would be of the same quality as the other products in this line, but not so. I will never purchase this again.

Comments about PHYTO Phytojoba Intense Hydrating Shampoo, 6.7 oz:
I've been using Phyto haircare products for three years, and I looooooved them, especially Phytjoba products. The old version was incredibly a-mazing! It left my hair moisturized, smooth, and yet lightweight. I couldn't live without it!
But the new version just disappoints me a lot! It makes my hair dry, frizzy, and hard to comb through. The price is even cheaper than the old version as well, which makes me doubt that they are changing the ingredients or what.
I bought a whole set of new Phytojoba products and haven't tried the conditioner and mask yet. I hope they are better than the shampoo. But still, I really wish Phyto could bring back their old version of this shampoo...The new version is just a huge mistake!

Comments about PHYTO Phytojoba Intense Hydrating Shampoo, 6.7 oz:
I personally have nothing but great things to say about this shampoo. It smells heavenly, is gentle yet cleans thoroughly, and it leaves my hair gorgeously healthy. My hair is generally not dry (not processed), but I do heat style daily through the week. I have a LOT of medium-fine textured hair that tends to be weighed down by most moisturizing shampoos, and in fact, almost 100% of all conditioners. The true test for me is my 'weekend hair'. I do not heat style and try to let my natural waves show. Most shampoos that do not weigh my hair and let the waves show the most also tend to leave my hair puffy. Any moisturizing ones weigh my slight natural waves down and leave it looking drab. This is the perfect shampoo for my unstyled hair! My waves look gorgeous and no frizz or pouf! Just bouncy, healthy, shiny hair. I find that the Phyto 7 leave-in is the icing on the cake!

Comments about PHYTO Phytojoba Intense Hydrating Shampoo, 6.7 oz:
This is 100% PRODUCT, not gummy fillers or "fragrance" which is another name for formaldehyde in the USA.
THis gives better results than some 30.00+ shampoos if you are looking for a shampoo to use frequently.
Best results I have had are a combo of this and OJON. Alternate the products each time you cleanse your hair.

Comments about PHYTO Phytojoba Intense Hydrating Shampoo, 6.7 oz:
I got this shampoo as a free sample with something else I ordered. When people complain that it is runny, they are NOT kidding! It doesn't bother me much, but I've had about half of this stuff go to waste because I continuously underestimate how runny it is. As far as lather, it doesn't lather well in your hands, but it does once you start working it through your hair. The smell also really bothers me - it's kind of like caramel which is nice, but then it begins to smell more like rancid milk with some vague fruity smell to it. Fortunately it doesn't linger after it's washed out. To be fair, I'm very sensitive to smell, and it's probably not that offensive to the average person. It did moderately improve the health of my hair, but it's not fantastic enough for me to overlook the flaws. I still think it's okay though.

Comments about PHYTO Phytojoba Intense Hydrating Shampoo, 6.7 oz:
Having not used a "non-lathering" type shampoo before, I wasn't expecting miracles. This shampoo is terrific. It leaves my hair shiny, bouncy, and clean. I notice that my hair towels don't have any discoloration from hair color. My hairdresser even commented on the improvement. I'll be back in spite of the price. It's a winner for me.

Although this is very runny, the fragrance alone is worth the cost. It is gentle & lathers well. It is expensive - but a treat.
