I need to shampoo everyday because I have oily hair. About 2 hours later or so, the oil in my hair would be back...that's just the way it is for me. BUT then I found this PHYTO shampoo. Not only does this shampoo give me the fullness I never had, but my oily hair is only a memory. It would get so bad for me even when I would wash my hair every morning with a clarifying shampoo and if I had plans to go out that night, I would have to rewash because I had oily hair by 7pm. NO MORE! This shampoo honestly works to dissolve and regulate the sebum glands that produce oil in the scalp. Its watery consistency is not all that great, but it makes sense that this shampoo is not thick; all the chemicals that make a shampoo thick and creamy leave a residue and film on the hair. But not this PHYTO shampoo-I can deal with the consistency because this shampoo works!!!

I bought this shampoo based on the stellar reviews here for people with oily hair. I don't get it - I have to use 3x the product because it's so watery/doesn't lather, I have to shampoo a second time because it doesn't feel clean, it smells medicinal, and the metal container with screw top lid is the dumbest packaging idea I've ever seen for a shampoo (with wet hands I almost drop it every time.) I don't see any better results than any other shampoo; the first day is great, then it degrades. I could usually go 2 or 3 days with Fekkai Glossing. I also use the phytobaume and the defrisiant from the phyto line and they seem ok.

Comments about PHYTO Phytopanama Shampoo, 6.7 oz:
I bought this shampoo for roughly $30 when ordered online and I would NOT buy this product again. It lathers well and I noticed in the beginning that my hair does feel a bit cleaner than other regular shampoos I've used. The only thing is that by the middle of the day, my hair is back to being oily and greasy again so the shampoo is pretty much useless. You can actually smell all the harmful chemicals in the shampoo so there is no way I'm using this as a regular shampoo.
Try ANY Tea Tree Shampoo. I personally use Kiehl's and it costs around this much but it actually helps my hair feel clean and oil-free throughout the entire day. You can smell the natural tea tree and it leaves my hair soft and really clean without the harsh chemicals. I have really really thin and oily hair and this makes my hair bounce and feel a lot fuller than it actually is. Don't bother wasting your time on this shampoo.

Comments about PHYTO Phytopanama Shampoo, 6.7 oz:
I bought this shampoo as I have very straight, very fine hair that tends to get oily quickly. While this product works, I can't say that it is any better than other shampoos that I have that are a fraction of the cost of this one.
I find that if I alternate this shampoo with some of my others it works better.
I don't think I will buy this again, though.

Comments about PHYTO Phytopanama Shampoo, 6.7 oz:
I needed to find a new shampoo for oily hair after my hair got use to the one from rene furterer (which I still love and think works the best so I hope I'll be able to go back to it one day) so after readin the reviews I decided to try this one. I agree with alot of users that it is very watery and I pour it into the bottle cap and than pour on my head. I think it latters up very nicely, the smell is something to be desired! All in all it does the job. I used to have wash my every day but now I can go every other day, but by the end of the day my hair starts to get oily looking

Comments about PHYTO Phytopanama Shampoo, 6.7 oz:
I have a lot of hair and my scalp reacts to most shampoo but getting very oily. This shampoo cleans it well and it doesn't have that rebound effect that other shampoos have. Also, it doesn't cover up smell, it just gets rid of it!
Pour into cap to use so you don't waste any when trying to dispense from container itself.

Comments about PHYTO Phytopanama Shampoo, 6.7 oz:
I have oily hair and most shampoos frustrate me because it doesn't even look like I've washed my hair. This shampoo actually leaves my hair clean, light, and fluffy. Its very watery so the best way to apply it is to transfer it to a spray bottle and squirt it on, then lather.

Comments about PHYTO Phytopanama Shampoo, 6.7 oz:
i alternate this shampoo with phyto's curling shampoo. this shampoo lathers alot more then the curling shampoo. i actually like this shampoo better, because it really brings out my natural curls better then the curling shampoo. I will still continue to alternate the two.

Comments about PHYTO Phytopanama Shampoo, 6.7 oz:
Yes, the shampoo is like water, and if you are not CAREFUL you will waste it, but it is good for oily hair. I am oily in the summer months, especially around my hairline, and I tend to break out there. A little bit of this stuff around the hairline, and PRESTO, no oil, and no acne. When used for this purpose, one bottle lasts a long time for me.
Comments about PHYTO Phytopanama Shampoo, 6.7 oz:
My hair did come out nice, but I could not stand the watery product. It is hard to put in your hair, spilling out of your hand, and does not suds up at all. I couldn't wait to finish the bottle and move back to my Kerastase. Also, love Ojan products.
