In the past, whenever I used a leave-in conditioning cream, my hair felt flat, oily, and lifeless. I got samples of this cream from Phyto Universe, and loved using it. A tiny bit is enough for my thick long wavy mane! I apply very little so as not to flatten my hair. It removes frizz completely, and my hair feels soft and silky after use. After styling I apply Phytolisse for a shiny look. My only issue with this cream is that the next day, it makes my hair flat. Yesterday I used Phytoprogenium shampoo with Phyto sesame conditioner, and that was enough to remove 90% of my frizz. The next day my hair did not flatten. But when I use the cream, my hair does flatten the next day. But this is still the best leave-in / styling cream I have every used!
I started out by using Bed Head Control Freak which was horrible and did nothing for my frizzy hair; instead, it made it worse. Then I came across Kiehl's Heat Protective Hair Straightening cream. I thought that it would be the closest I come to straightening my hair after 45 minutes of styling with blow dryer, boar bristle hair brush, and flat iron. With this cream, in 15 minutes my hair is straight and I do not need to use a flat iron! Love the product. It is expensive, but I stocked up during the Friends & Family sale of 40% off.

This made my hair shiny and it felt good. The problems: I needed to rinse it out the next morning. Brushing it for the first time after my hair dried left my brush covered in cotton-candy like gunk, and left the same gunk in my hair. On my black hair it looked like I was having a severe dandruff day. Also, the smell is kind of unpleasant--like one of those unsweetened wheat puff cereals--but it doesn't last long enough to be a bother. I only gave it three stars because of the cotton residue, and the stickiness left on your hands if you happen to run your fingers through it after it dries. Other than that, it really did put some shine and life into my hair.

I love this product. I use it after washing my hair and I only need a bit on the ends of my hair and it gives my hair a lovely shine and softness to it and manages my frizz. I actually like the light oat mealy smell. It's barely there and fades quickly. It may be a little sticky on the fingers but it doesn't make my hair sticky which I'm happy about.

I have very very damaged hair and have been sampling a lot of products in attempts to restore its quality. This is a helpful asset but the size/price prevent me from giving it 5 stars. A little does not go a long way. It suggests a dime size portion. I have shoulder length hair and require twice that. I will probably purchse this again but not as soon as I run out.

This cream is expensive however a little bit is all that is needed on a daily basis. It is hydrating, lightweight, and non greasy. I like that it is all natural and made with plant products.

I have been using this since I went to France ages ago, so my review may be biased! :) I think this is a great product, though . . . I use it every time I shampoo. It doesn't weigh my long, straight hair down like some heavier products, but it does add a little extra conditioning above and beyond my rinse-out brand. Every time I get my hair cut, I get compliments from my stylist on how few split ends I have. If you have really damaged hair, you may need something a little heavier, though.

Been using this every day since I got it, but haven't seen significant improvement or changes in my hair. My hair does feel softer and shinier after applying, but the effect doesn't last long. A stylist used this in my hair when I went from straightening my hair to going back to naturaly curly. My hair is curly, fine, and dry from coloring. This stuff doesn't weigh my hair down, doesn't smell bad and has no silicones of any kind. This makes a good second day hair cream. Yes, it is a little pricey, but worth it.
