Comments about Paula Dorf Eye Transformer Brush, 1 ea:
I had my first Transformer brush for 8 years, and I used it daily as a push brush, a liner brush, a concealer brush, and even an eyebrow brush on occasion. I did not follow directions and wash it after each use, (in fact I hardly ever washed it, I just wiped it off after use), which is probably what lead to the hair getting brittle and losing shape. I've just recently replaced this old standby with a new Transformer brush, and I promised myself I'd take good care of it. This has been my favorite brush, and I'd really miss it if I didn't have it. It's the only brush I've used that really does get color between the eyelashes, which creates an amazingly natural, yet beautifully enhanced eye look. I use this brush wet with Transformer or Bare Escentuals Weather Everything, wet with water on some powder eyeliners, or with cream liner. It's also great for putting concealer or brightener on the bottom eye rim, or just beneath the lower lashes. I think many users will think of this brush as a "must have", because it's so functional and versatile.

It achieve its purpose if you work at it enough, but I never reach for this brush. I prefer to use an angled liner brush for getting gel liner and shadow very close to or under my lashline because it gets the job done much faster. Part of the problem might be that the fibers aren't stiff or dense enough and tend to separate into little bunches. Bottom line is you can find many better brushes (synthetic and natural) out there for less.

This is the best brush I have found for applying eyeliner in the water line. I had been using Laura Mercier's flat line brush and wasn't totally thrilled with it. This brush is so much better. It's smaller (really important if you have small eyes) and it's slightly curved, which is the way your lash line is shaped. I use it with Mac's cream eye liner, but it could work with any cream or cake type liner. Makes lashes look really thick.

I have had this brush for about 8 years. It is an awesome eye liner brush. The description is right - perfect for getting liquid eye liner (or wet shadow) on that delicate part of the eye, right under the lash. Everyone is wearing eyeliner under the last for that sexy look. Anyhow, after all this time of living in my make up bag, my brush needs replacing. I can't complain - 8 years is way more use then I expected. I bet it would have lasted much longer if I took care of it properly.
