Overall, this product works very well, and it is easy to put on. Instead of just using it on my eyelids to hold color, I use it as an under eye concealer and a concealer for the uneven tone around my eyes. I don't think it keeps my eye shadow from creasing really, but it is a great way to brighten your whole eye area and make you look more awake. It's not even meant to cover under eye circles, but it's the best under eye concealer I'e ever found!

I bought this based on the good reviews, even though it's super-expensive. Unfortunately, it was a major waste of money. It didn't work at all for me. I tried it like four or five times. Different eyeshadows, more, less, etc. Neutrogena cooling eye something in petal shimmers works better and is like a third of the price.

Once applied, this primer works really, really well - shadows apply so much better than on bare lids and it improves the staying power of my eye makeup. My problem with it is that it's very hard, waxy, and dry, which makes it difficult for me to apply without pulling on my eyelids and irritating the skin. It would probably work better with a sponge, and possibly with the recommended brush, but I personally prefer a creamier texture (like Urban Decay's primer, for example), so I won't repurchase.

I began using this product in 2001, after years of trying many other inferior eye primers. I can honestly say that my eye makeup (all Paula Dorf) looks as fresh at 11 P.M. as it does when I first apply it. And, there are no touch-ups needed during the day.
