I have been using this base coat for probably 7-8 years. It goes on smoothly, makes a very even base for nail polish to go over, and my manicures easily last a week with very little or no chipping.
I see a couple of reviews by the same reviewer saying the product was clumpy and shows through. The color is a very pale, somewhat sheer nude. I've never had any trouble with it showing through light-colored or sheer polishes. I've also never had any clumping issues and I've gone through quite a few bottles in the time I have been using the product.
Overall, can't recommend highly enough. Lippmann polishes are the best, in my opinion.

This is an awful beige color. It showed under a light pink polish I used. It did not fill in any ridges. It was clumpy upon application.

I had high hopes for this product. Instead, I found the color an unattractive beige, it does not apply evenly, and it looked bad under a light polish I used. It also made the nail polish application look uneven. I would like to be able to return it, as I doubt I would ever use it again.

This is by far the best ridge filler base coat I have ever used. The polish lasted a little over a week, not bad for an at home manicure!
