This is a great product to fill in brows that are there but have some empty spaces. I would not recommend if you have very thinned out brows. It is not an eyebrow pencil. Best to watch Mally apply it - ck youtube - to see the method she uses. First I make sure my brows are in the shape I wish them to be by brushing them into place. Then I apply this to brow hairs only (not skin) in an upward stroking motion along the shape of my brow. This adds just enough color without creating a too dark unnatural appearance. I have gray hair around my face and a too dark brow would look terrible on me. My brows are dark brown normally and this shade really blends in nicely and looks like me but better, more defined and filled in. Lasts fairly well throughout my day and doesn't wash off in the rain like those colored brow gels. LOVE LOVE LOVE this and have repurchased many times.
