This mirror is beautiful and just a little larger than most compact mirrors. On the rare occasion I'm putting it in my bag, I have to protect it with a small pouch so it doesn't get scratched or anything. Other than that, I leave it on my vanity and use it in conjunction with a larger mirror that has a magnifying side. Had I known this only has one mirror, I'd have chosen the round one first. I still would have bought this, but I really think the description needs to say ONE mirror. I did research and found nothing about it. I feel special items add a little extra something to enhance the beauty ritual, wether it be daily or a special occasion.
