This remover works great on waterproof mascara without having to tug at sensitive eye area. Just seems to dissolve the makeup. Absolutely love it and a great price too.

This stuff is great for removing even the heaviest of eye makeup. Doesn't sting, even if it gets into your eyes, and actually leaves your skin feeling a bit silky after it dries (which also only takes about a second). My advice is to have a good pad or tissue blotter to use with it so that it can be the most effective. Love this stuff more than anything else I've tried. Also great for really heavy lip color - doesn't smudge it off, just removes it cleanly. Makes it seem like you never were even wearing makeup. Love it!

I agree that you have to apply this remover and let it dissolve waterproof mascara. But I wouldn't want to use something the equivalent of Extra-fast nail polish remover on my eyes (my nails are tough - they can take it)
I love that I never lose eyelashes when I take off mascara, I let this stuff do its job.
The film of silicone - not oil - rinses off with warm water, and the mascara is thoroughly removed. If you break out from silicones, you may want to rinse extra well, but it's not like you're wearing the silicone in a makeup primer.

I'm going to have to disagree. I thought that by paying more, I would get a better performing product. Not so. It is just like all the other eye makeup removers I've tried. This stuff may not contain oil, but it leaves what feels like an oily film and it didn't remove my waterproof mascara on the first or second cotton ball. If you're like me and still searching for the perfect eye makeup remover... keep searching because this is not it!
