I received this as a sample. It does not have silicone in it. It made my hair very soft. I rub a little (chocolate chip size) in my damp hair after a shower. My hair is very thick (lots of hair) with a combination of fine and textured strands. This made my hair feel & look great.
I will check out some of those long ingredients (BHT is one I avoid in my food at least) and if it's cruelty free before ordering.

Not what I thought! This, as well as other Carol's Daughter products, which I found out later, has silicone in it. That's an absolute no, no when it comes to curly hair! It dried my hair out and it smells way too strong, like falling into a perfume pot! Definitely do not recommend and will not purchase again! Save your money curly girls!

even though the bottle said its to use on damp hair, i think it works better on almost-dry hair because you really need to use more product if u use it damp and the result won't even turn out better.
and be careful on the bottle if you want to travel, it tend to leak easily!
and the pump is so not good. i recommend pouring some to a travel sized plastic bottle

Product is ok, however they have now shipped me 2 of these and none of them have had a pump included. It is a pour bottle that makes a HUGE mess. It is a glass bottle with a pour top. This is not great for a hair oil.
