The previous reviewer is incorrect, and this product is not a waste of money. Before I purchased the product years ago, I read all the reviews that explained you need to mix it first. The exfoliants sink to the bottom of the tin, so all that's at the top is balm. I took a bobby pin and mixed the tin for 15 seconds, and it was good to go. You do not need to re-mix it before each use.

I was looking for a lip exfoliator because my lips are dry even though I use a lip balm daily. Tarte Maracuja Lip Exfoliant was a waste of money as it did not exfoliate my lips one bit. This is just an overpriced lip balm in a cute container. I would not buy this again.
