This is my very 1st makeup setting spray and I was never disappointed. I used it on a vacation on a hot and humid country and my makeup remained all throughout the day. I have oily face and I sweat more than usual. I was having some acne but it did not make them worse.

I always read reviews to guide my purchases but rarely write them. I had to for this spray. I have tried so many shine control products, and this is the best. I live on the SC coast where it's very humid. Even in winter my skin gets super oily fast. I first started using this spray in the summer months and am very pleased. My skin will not start getting shiny for at least 4-5 hours after make-up application, and even then it's not super oily. i spray this before and after make-up application. I also feel it may have a cumulative effect as my face hasn't been nearly as greasy as it normally is in summer. All the other oil control type products I have used keep me shine free for about 1 hour and/or they look weird on my skin. This spray is much better. It's the bomb.

I have used the regular all nighter setting spray by urban decay. Didn't work. This works very GOOD! I do use a primer before applying my makeup; I currently use smashbox primer in the "light" version. I am going to try the urban decay primer, it got great reviews! Yes you do get oily at the end of the day, but not as much! And your makeup doesn't wear off so easily. I highly recommend this product for very oily skin types like my self. ps. I also use the smashbox photo translucent powder before applying this spray. Helps also with oil control!!

I expected this product to control the oil in my T-zone area and it did not... I don't have super oily skin but it can get a little shiny at times. This product is not as good as the De Slick that comes in a tube... the tube is more mattifying which I LIKE!!!!
