After cleansing, smooth pad over face avoiding eye and lip area. Leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse with water to neutralize. After 3 weeks of use, pending tolerance, treatment can be left on overnight. Dispose of pad after each use. Use 1-3 times per week or as recommended by physician. |

I previously submitted a review of this product and I noticed something I needed to add but it looks like you cannot revise reviews. One thing I have noticed with this product is a bleaching effect on my pillowcase. If you use sheets other than white sheets you may notice this. I don't care about it. It's actually kind of funny because it's sort of halo shaped. It's on both sides because I flip my pillow. But I did want to add this because other users could be annoyed by it.

At first you must start with the 20-minute use and rinse off to build up tolerance to leave on all night. You will feel a tingle. Even after building up tolerance I still cannot apply this to the area above my upper lip because my skin is so sensitive. After about 6 to 8 weeks of using this my skin looks much brighter. Dark spots and milia are not gone yet but there is change. I have been trying to use 3 times a week as directed. As for the cost, this product really isn't too expensive compared to other high-end products and it works! I took some scissors and cut a stack of the pads in half and a half pad is enough to saturate my face and will make it go farther. I recommend sealing the jar up very tight to prevent evaporation.

I purchased this product as I have plenty of acne scars from breakouts that I wanted to lighten and/or fade away. This has definitely done both, lightening old scars and getting rid of newer scars. I started using this in conjunction with the mario badescu vitamin c serum, which is also geared towards fading away scars. Both were new products I started using at the same time, so they both may have a hand in improving my skin tone. Regardless, I just purchased my second container, as it gets off dirt even after cleansing, and encourages cell turn-over. If nothing else, it's a great exfoliant! Most importantly, it doesn't burn! I used PTR Correction Pads, but they contained so much alcohol, and stung intensely, so this is also great for sensitive skin.
