I have always had fine hair, but I hit a point in my life where my hair was starting to break and fall out constantly. It basically woudn't grow due to all the breakage and I would wash my hair and get a handful of hair pull out when I would comb it after washing. As a woman, losing your hair is seriously detrimental to your self esteem. I tried all the products you hear advertised on the radio (not worth it!) and I literally had even more hair falling out and in my comb after washing!!

I read reviews of this product on another site and decided to give it a try -- using both the conditioner and the shampoo. It is expensive, but so was everything else I was trying with no success. It lathers just fine (some people have said they had issues with that, but I think it has plenty of lather). Within one week, the amount of hair in my comb had dropped significantly. Within 2-3 weeks, I would comb my hair after washing/conditioning and I would literally only have one hair come out (and some days none!). I am probably on my fourth bottle of each of the shampoo and conditioner and my hair has grown, does not break as much, and even my hair stylist said (for the first time EVER) that my ends look really healthy.

I can tell you that whenever I go a few washings without the Alterna Repair Rx (either the shampoo or the conditioner), I fall right back into seeing more hair loss. I am addicted to this line and hope they never stop making this product.
