Comments about Blind Barber Tompkins Small Candle, 6.2 oz:
When it comes to candles--and fragrances in general, for that matter--I fall squarely into the "less is more" camp. I can't walk within twenty meters of those bath and body care retail establishments at the local shopping mall without sneezing profusely and fighting off the dry heaves. Yes, this candle falls on the pricier end of the spectrum, but after lighting it up one evening in a room full of guests and listening to their remarks, I'm sold. The clever packaging rift on the vintage canister of barbicide also makes for a fun conversation piece. I rarely use the word "sexy" as an adjective, but there's something unmistakably masculine about the mix of lavender, smoke, and yes, leather. It might sound strange, but it works very, very well. Bottom line, this candle could go head to head with the best of them (*cough* Tom Ford *cough*) any day. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.
