      Comments about Karuna Renewal Eye Mask, 4 pair:

      I bought this product because it listed natural ingredients and advertised that there were no parabens and although I do not have generally sensitive skin I have a low tolerance for some chemical preservatives. I didn't realize that Ethylhexylglycerin was the same thing and had a bad reaction with itchy red puffy skin. I looked it up and apparently ethylhexylglycerin is a relatively new chemical on the market. Companies use it as an alternative to parabens and claim that it's from natural sources, but it's not truly natural, and safety data is lacking and it has been found to be an irritant. Changing the names of chemical preserviateives doesn't make them any less toxic or more natural. It is awful stuff and I would definitely not recommend this product.
