Just use a REAL little bit. It is not oily but blends in easily and you do not need a lot. A little goes a long way! I don't notice that it evens out my skin any but both my mom and fiancé, on two separate occasions, made it a point to tell me how flawless and glowing my face looked. My fiancé normally likes me better without make-up so I was surprised. I don't always use the BB cream because I admit, I do have nice skin and don't wear foundation & the BB cream is sort of like that, then the powder. It is just layers of stuff on my face! I am only 46 yrs old but some people really HAVE to wear make-up so I should be greatful. I just think less is better.
The primer IS pricey for me, but I figure it will go a long way so it will be worth it!

I don't understand why this product has consistently gotten such rave reviews. I agree with the other reviewers that this primer is easy to apply and lightweight. It does help foundation to go on more smoothly, but contrary to its claims, it doesn't increase the longevity of the foundation. Overall, I don't think it works any better than primers that are a fraction of the price. Save your money!

I've tried quite a few primers, but this is my aboslute favorite. It minimizes pores, and allows for a really nice, even coverage of your foundation. I have a difficult time using any other primers now that I know how great this one is. I love it because it keeps my skin from absorbing all the stuff in foundations that cause me to break out. I absolutely love it and absolutely recommend it. Yes, it is a little pricey, which is why I like to wait for the Jumbo Primer Sale that SmashBox has once a year. You can get a tube a little over twice the size for a little less than twice the price. Totally worth it in my book.

I wish I discovered it earlier!
The greatest thing about this product is that it does not let your skin absorb the foundation, which also at the end helps the foundation stay longer (aside from the fact that your skin is now NOT "eating" all the harsh chemicals found in foundations, powders, etc.)
I love it and I think it makes my skin look smoother and silkier.
You first reaction could be that it's a bit oily. You'll soon see that it's not. Even if you still feel the oiliness on your skin during the day, it is a GOOD kind of oiliness that hydrates your skin and makes it soft and glowy.
