Ritual: Scoop 1 to 1� teaspoon into palm of hand. Warm by rubbing between hands until it transforms into a nourishing oil. Distribute evenly throughout hair and scalp. Comb through and allow to penetrate for 20 minutes before rinsing and shampooing. For overly damaged hair, apply gentle heat from a hairdryer for 5 minutes or alternatively leave the treatment in overnight. My hair is dry and frizzy. I used the product overnight with a shower cap. You need a towel on the pillow as well. After 12 hours, I washed with a reconstructive shampoo and intense conditioner and my hair was just as bad.
I am back to applying a lot of hair serum and spray on, leave-in conditioner.

I use this about once a month. I put it on while I'm on my exercise bike, put my hair in a ponytail and let it work. I'm always happy with how silky my hair feels afterwards. For me one container last a very long time. I would guess that I use a bout a nickel-size amount. I have curly hair that is just past shoulder length and I alternate this product with two or three other products for a weekly deep conditioning. I love the smell of this, really love it, (but my hubby can't stand it, so I don't use it when he's around and he never smells it on me after showering). It's pricey, but does last a very long time. I will continue to purchase this and am purchasing another container of it today.

I opted to get it for one of my 3 samples when placing an order. I am assuming that if you actually buy the whole container of the product it would not be a problem, but this sample just stunk! Anyone who knows what rancid oil smells like will know what I'm talking about. Maybe the sample packets should be thrown out because it's not going to help sell the whole container of product!

My hair is damaged due to coloring. This product made my frizzy, straw textured hair come alive again. I put it on, then do housework or chores. The bottle says to keep in for 20 minutes, but when I use it I keep in for an hour or more. A little goes a long way. The user places a small amount into palm and then rubs hands together to melt the oil, then you smooth it into your hair. In total, I use about a quarter sized amount each time. Afterwords, you shampoo out. I am really pleased with this product.
