Comments about Tokyo Milk Dark Lip Elixir, La Vie En Rose, .7 oz:
I have 5 Tokyo Milk Lip Elixirs, La Vie En Rose was my first. I smell more cherry than rose, but it's a lovely scent. It's not flavored. To be honest I don't really like the formula lol. It's the fragrances that keep me coming back for more. I like to carry them in my purse just to sniff them. Lip Elixirs are scented Vaseline in a pretty tin. They look like Vaseline, they feel like Vaseline, and they taste like Vaseline. However I highly appreciate Tokyo Milk's honesty in that they do list petrolatum as the first ingredient, so it's not like you're expecting one thing and then getting something else. Many lip balm manufacurers *conveniently* leave out the fact that their products are petroleum-based, since a lot of people prefer not to use products containing petroleum.
It took a while for me to figure out how to use this stuff. Like I said, it's Vaseline, so it goes on very tacky and sticky. It's not so comfortable when applied as-is. You have to put on a generous amount (don't worry, the tin contains a lot so you won't run out quickly at all)and smush your lips together until it melts. That will prevent it fom feeling like glue and getting that white stuff in the corners of your mouth. You can also use this on your cuticles.
