I have tried other flavors/scents of this balm and they were different and interesting in a good way. The absinthe flavor is so gross, it has a strong anisette flavor, I thought it would be much more subtle. My husband is repulsed by it and wants me to just toss it but I feel bad wasting anything. I give it a thumbs down, a very off-putting flavor and scent.

Absinthe has a subtle aroma, unique and very pleasant. I like the light balm like texture which is not sticky and for me it is perfect prior to using other lip products.
The tin is rather large for a lip balm and is a good value.
The only reason I gave the balm 4 stars is because the tin lid is difficult to close; top and bottom portions do not seem to be in alighnment.
