Try these before you buy these. I'm not sure if it's because all the colors have different formulas or if some places have older cosmetics. I bought Abbey Road and it was the creamiest eyeliner I had ever tried. Perfect color and texture. No tugging and it easily glides across the eyelid. I gave it away because it didn't go with my hair color well, but I've went back to my natural dark brown and need to get it again. I bought the Bourbon Street and was really disappointed. It was dry, hard to transfer to my eyelid. I was expecting the same quality as Abbey Road. It would barely swatch on my hand. I never like over paying for something that is useless or that I can get better cheaper. I love Maybelline Master Smoky and Master Drama Eyeliners, except for the black in the Master Drama. I haven't tried the black in the smoky version. For an affordable perfect black retractable eyeliner I love Palladio Retractable Eyeliner Pure Black.
