I use this in the morning, under my sunscreen or REN BB cream. It goes on easily, you don't need much. It can feel sticky until it's dry, just a minute or so, and then it feels like it's tightening my skin, lifting it. In a GOOD way. I have seen some lightening of sun damage patches on my forehead, but as I also use their bio-retinoid cream I'm not sure exactly how much is due to which product. Regardless, I am ordering more.

I like the Ren products--I use one of the nighttime anti-aging creams and it didn't irritate my skin. So I thought I'd give this a shot for day time. But really, I felt it was just expensive nice-smelling serum. My skin has some scarring from acne and bigger pore, occasional breakouts. I didn't notice an improvement in the skin, but it didn't make my skin worse, either. So, really maybe if you have normal/good skin or dry maybe it's moisturizing? Honestly, I don't really know what it does! But the rest of the brand is pretty good...

I really don't recommend this product for sensitive and/ or acne prone skin. I had normal clear skin, I was looking for a product to improve my skintone and make it more 'punchy' and luminous and I ended up with horrible acne which I didn't experience for years! Unless your have dry skin don't buy it.
Also it didn't improve my skin tone as it said, slight result, so it's not worth the price!
I leaves a sticky fealing and doesn't absorb quickly.
