I love it. But after my first time using it, I realized I needed VERY little. If you use too much, hair becomes very crunchy. I love the smell. No flaking and lasts all day. Even if it becomes crunchy, I just spritz some water on it and it softens.
I don't have to use it everyday either.
I finally found a product for African American kinky, curly hair that WORKS and smells great.

Before you buy this product check out the YouTube video on how to apply and style. If you have the time and patience to apply in small sections then you'll be OK. However, I found the application too tedious and time consuming. Once my hair dried I wasn't happy with the results. My hurls were stiff and crunchy. I will admit, the curls stayed in for days. After sleeping on my hair, all I had to do was spritz on a little water and my curls came back to life. I ended up returning the product for a refund.

This is the best product I've come across for my thick, curly hair. I have natural, unprocessed Black hair. I have some heat damage from occasional use of flat irons, which has caused some areas to not curl as well. However, this product helps to define even those difficult areas.
With most curly products that actually have worked for me (very few), I may get 1 day of good hair, and another of ok hair before having to wash and start over. Kinky Curly gives me at least 2 days of GREAT hair, and 2 more of good hair.
I loosely follow the "Curly Girl Method" (google it) for cleansing and styling. And KKCC has taken my hair to a new level.
Pricey, bit worth it. Another turnoff may be the slippery, slimy consistancy -not your typical gel feel, but you get used to it.

I've been using this daily a couple of months now and really like it. I provides good support and natural shine for my loose curls. The strange vanilla cake mix smell subsides quickly as it dries. Easy to apply and product lasts a long time. All natural, with plant oils that condition the hair. i have to say it does not work as well in high humidity as i'd hoped.
