I have short color treated hair that is in very good condition. I use products for that purpose. If I had not used a conditioner there is no way I could of ran a comb through my hair. Product does lather well and smells ok. If you have hands that do not work well getting this product out of the bottle will pose a problem. The plastic is hard and trying to squeeze a portion into your palm will take a little effort. I am glad I did not buy the larger size as this will take time to use up completely.

I have used Alterna Products for more than 10 years. Only complaint is that bottle broke when dropped in the shower during the first week of use. Bottles are way too thin. Shampoo and comnditioner are very effective in adding volume. I wouldn't use anything else.

I have very thin, very fine wavy hair. I've tried lots of products to help boost volume and most aren't very effective on my hair. My complaint with this product is that it causes me to lose 3 to 4 times the amount of hair during shampooing and blowdrying due to it drying my hair out and causing it to tangle and break excessively. What's the extra volume going to do if I don't have hair on my head? This product is a waste of money in my opinion.

This shampoo works great and smells fabulous! I use it with the coordinating conditioner and volumizing cream and it does add volume and bounce to my wavy curly hair. I have lost a lot of hair due to illness and am so glad I found this product, It makes me feel like I have my old mane back!

The product itself is pretty good, however the packaging is terrible. I brought it on my vacation, it leaked half of the bottle in one day! Though the design of the bottle is quite elegant, the cap of it cannot be sealed, which is a big problem if someone wants to carry it on the way since it's not a big bottle. I do hope they can improve the packaging.
