After receiving a sample from Beauty.com, I quickly bought a full-size version. This is one of the best eyeshadow primers on the market - it goes on smoothly, blends well and stays put. My only complaint is that the applicator that comes with it daubs on a spackle-like coating and you really don't want that much product if you are like me - over 40 and with some "experience" lines. I use my fingers to apply it, which results in a more even, thinner coat. You will want to wait a few seconds to let it dry before applying eye shadow.

I have dark eyelids even though I am quite fair skinned, so I like to use it to even out the color on my lids. It is maybe just a tiny bit lighter then my skin and I am nc15 in mac foundation. If you have had problems with this product it is because you used too much. You only need a pin head size drop for both lids. It goes a very long way. It definitely goes on better if you use a patting motion with your finger than if you try to wipe it on or use a brush. Makes shadows true to their color and lasts a 12 hour work day without creasing even a bit.

At first I hated this product. Having used the original version and seeing this would be a yellowish based product I assumed I would love it so I threw the package out without having even tried it first. My goal was to use it to keep my extremely oily lids matte, color correct my lids, and go without eyeshadow that day. I was so disappointed because it looked horrible.
I hate throwing perfectly good products away so I gave it a few more tries. My discovery is that you must use a very, very tiny amount and blend quickly. When I do use it with shadows it works great...better than the original, and I'm using a fraction of the original!
