Comments about AHAVA Deadsea Salt Moisturizing Salt Soap, 3.4 oz:
I tested this with my pH strips and can feel the difference on my skin as well. No more Dove for me! (Or especially Olay which has an ever higher pH). This foams well for a low pH bar and keeps my skin feeling great. I wish it were fragrance free but the scent is very mild.
Pros

Comments about AHAVA Deadsea Salt Moisturizing Salt Soap, 3.4 oz:
I wouldn't put a review here if i felt there was already a balanced view of this product. After buying and using it for a few weeks, however, i feel anyone thinking of spending the nine dollars for this should have more information. If the price was lower, my star rating would be higher. I just don't believe this item delivers its claims or good value for the price.
I was very excited about the overblown claims and glowing reviews of this cleansing bar, so excited that i actually dropped the price of a pizza to try it. I wish i'd just bought the pizza. Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying this item is worthless, just that it's worth less than its asking price.
I did enjoy the wonderful smell and even the unusual texture of this bar, but those were the only benefits i found in it. Its best use, for me anyway, was sticking my nose on it to get some momentary scent-induced stress relief. It was also a tactile pleasure to use it cloth-less due to its slightly gritty texture. I was counting on it to also be at least reasonably moisturizing, i.e. that my skin wouldn't be all ashy the next morning, but no such luck.
As aromatherapy and tactile enjoyment this item is great, maybe even nine dollars worth of great to some. I'm even on the fence about buying it again just for the smell and feel and using a massage oil after to fight dryness. I just didn't find it the miracle bar it claims to be.
