This little wonder in a tiny container isn't the easiest thing to use, but if your morning serum/moisturizer doesn't contain enough vitamin C (an antioxidant and skin brightener) for you, all you have to do is add a little scoop (scoop included) of this powder to your palm, add your serum/moisturizer, rub palms together until you can feel that the powder's been dissolved, and then apply to face/neck/decollete. I have a serum that I love but doesn't contain the 20% vitamin C that I want to keep my 30-something year old skin from developing deeper fine lines, and use this powder in conjunction with this serum in the mornings - and voila, I've created the perfect concoction for my skin! It is kind of a pain to scoop out the powder from the tiny container and dissolve it into your product before applying to your skin, but it's well worth the results if you want a high vitamin C concentrated product.

Im 42, with fair skin and a lot of freckles, minimal wrinkles, very noticeable dark circles (deep purple). I mix this product in a small plastic cup along with an intensive skin repair moisturizer. I've found that this has done a great job on lightening my dark undereye circles. They seems to be reacting similiar to the lightening of a bruise. But "using" this product only gets one star! Not only is it difficult to fully incorporate this into my moisturizer, but once on it feels a little gritty on the face. I've also found that my skin has become sensitive after a weeks use and now all my beauty products burn when first applied! IMO I would look for a vit c serum with the high percentage, just not in this form.

Comments about philosophy turbo booster c powder, .25 oz:
Some beauty experts claimed this product is a well-hidden gem from Philosophy! Why? Because the main benefit of this product is whitening your complexion and Westerners are not that into this beauty regime.
However, this product actually beat many pricey high-end skin care peers due to the way it preserves that fickle vitamin C ingredient! Powder-form vitamin C is the best way to guarantee the quality over time.
So even though it's not that convenient to use this product (you have to mix the powder with your own moisturizer) the solid result would justify the labor!

I have only been using this product for a week and have noticed an increase in break outs. Has anyone else had a similiar experience. I read the reviews prior to purchasing and was hoping this would lighten my hyperpigmentation. I haven't seen a difference, but again it's only been a week.

Some think this is messy to use but I love it. It mixes nicely with any moisturizer. I feel it has brightened my skin and helped even it out. I use every morning even mixing a little with another vitamin c product that I am trying to use up.

I used this product when in first came out, under a different name and it worked great. Then you get seduced by other products' claims, only to find out they don't work as well. I went back to this a few years ago and I can say it does work. You will clearly see a brightening of the skin. I take care of my skin so don't have many fine lines and wrinkles--it might be preventing them I don't know.
I was a big fan a Philosophy in the beginning, tried some of their newer stuff and haven't liked it, doesn't seem to live up to the claims and is much more expensive. But I do find their original products very useful, especially Hope in Jar that works great with this product.

Comments about philosophy turbo booster c powder, .25 oz:
I am a big fan of Philosophy's "When Hope is Not Enough," serum and the reviews mentioned that this was a good accessory product, so I tried it. What a disaster! I found NO increased help in the serum, and my fingertips and nails turned a bright orange! The scoop was not-at-all easy to use...I found it to be a worthless product and it took AGES for my fingertips to return to their normal color, even after I used lemon and other products to bleach them. UGH! So UNHAPPY!
