Be sure to rock the mascara wand at the base of your lashes first. This is where you want the most product, then brush out to the tips. Layer on a thin coat. Don't let it dry completely before applying your mascara. It should still be tacky. One coat of mascara afterwards should be enough! |

I wanted a product to help protect my lashes since they were becoming slightly brittle from mascara use. I also wanted something to possibly help my lashes grow. My lashes are soft after removing my eye makeup which is great, haven't noticed anything yet as far helping to keep my lashes healthy so they grow (I just purchased this). One unexpected thing was the longevity of my mascara and the priming ability of this conditioner. When this came I ran right upstairs to use it and did my makeup (not planning on going anywhere) and used a mascara I love but don't always wear because it smudges all over my eyelid. I went and shoveled snow and my amazement no smudges anywhere! Also confirmed yesterday at work there were no smudges after 14 hours!! So happy with this product!

This is the third time I have ordered this product and I would have a hard time giving it up! It is the only lash primer I have ever used that seems to improve the health of my eyelashes and protect them from the effects of mascara. I use this everyday before applying my mascara and it makes my lashes look thicker and longer, and helps me to lose less lashes when I remove the mascara. Is is pricey, but this tube lasts a long time- 6 months or so, so I think it is worth it.

This product goes on like a cream. If you try to put mascara on after this it just wipes off. Even if you give it time to dry it just stays creamy. It may work as a conditioner but as a primer it totally misses the mark.

I really saw a difference when I first started using this product. My eyelashes were falling out and thinning so I went on the search for a good treatment product. After using this, I tried others (just to compare) and came back. I use it daily under my mascara (I notice I use less mascara!!) and I even use it on my brows (I apply it to my lashes first then use whatever is left on the brush on my brows - under my brow makeup). Goes on white so you can see where it is...dries clearer (not perfectly clear....you'll need mascara)

I started using this lash conditioner when I came to Afghanistan over a year ago becuase it is so dry over here. I put it on in the morning and before I go to bed, after I've washed my face. I've found that my lashes are longer, mainly because I don't seem shed them so much. They also seem to be darker, maybe it is becuase there is an extra bit of protection to keep the natural color better. I see a difference and am happy with how soft my lashes are.

I've been using this Jane Iredale lash conditioner for years, and I'm glad that it is now available at Beauty.com. It is great to use on your lashes before bed and helps keeps lashes soft and healthy. It can also be used under mascara to boost length and volume of your lashes. If you plan to use it under mascara just make sure to let it dry before you apply your mascara; I think it works best that way.
