I have been using this product for more than 10 years. I have tried over the years other respective brand name shampoos (i.e. Enjoy, Alterna Cavier shampoo, Rene Furterer -Paris, Kerastase Age Premium Lait Substantif, It's a 10 etc.) and I keep coming back to this one by Alterna. I now have grey hair and it does just fine with my aging hair. As usual since I am a product junkie I know I will try other shampoos in the future but I will keep using this one too. Also I only use "sulfate-free" shampoos.

I was starting to lose a bit of hair, and my stylist told me to cut-out products with sulfates. She suggested this, and I have been using it ever since. Within two weeks, I started to feel new hair sprouting. Not sure how much this had to do with it...but my hair loss stopped cold after I started using Alterna - over one year and counting, knock on wood.

I have wavy fine hair but I have a lot of it. I live in a humid climate and hate that my hair gets frizzy. I've used this for 3 weeks now and really like how it works and makes my hair feel. And it seems to control the frizz very well. I haven't used any other product with it to see if it works and it does!
My only issue is the smell. It's one step up from pachuli oil and I loath the smell of pachuli. I wish it had less odor. (I refuse to call it fragrance)
