Take note- this is VERY citrusy! I love the scent, but on some people, I can imagine it smelling like lemon pledge. It definitely has a rosewater top note, but hot holy hannah, once it dries, it is like you just climbed out of a fruit tree. I love the scent, really, but it's not at all what it sounds like!

Gin & Rosewater is a gorgeous fragrance. Normally I can't stand fruity perfumes, but never fear.. this is NOT your little sister's Viva La Juicy. The mandarin really comes through as the top note but it's tempered a bit, kind of like the way a grapefruit is somewhat bitter compared to an orange. This is a good thing though. It prevents you from smelling like fruit punch. I honestly reach for this when I am feeling sad. It's such a brightening fragrance that makes you feel better. I highly recommend this one.

I tried this on a whim and based on its description and on the other reviews. This is an awesome fragrance, it definitely reminds me of a great gin and tonic, very crisp and clean, its not strong enough to last all day, but definitely and early morning wake up call.I will by it again.

This perfume smells like regret and broken romances, and I mean that in the BEST WAY POSSIBLE. It makes me feel like I'm living in a Jazz Age novel, staring out the window in a thunderstorm, watching my ex-lover speed off with his new wife. Obviously I turn to gin to drown the pain, and the novel ends with me as an embittered old lady, haunting the mansion where I live in a state of permanent changelessness, allowing nothing to be moved from where it was on the moment he left, right down to the decaying roses in their vases.
Yes, I KNOW that at the end there it's a little bit Great Expectations, but still, that's how this perfume smells. I love it.

I love this scent. It's clean and friendly with just enough of that "gin" scent to make it unusual. I wear this every day.
The whole Tokyo Milk line of perfume smells great to me, but my favorites are this one, Dead Sexy and Eden. So, if you like these other scents, chances are you'll like this one too!
