It's like a lipstick, lipliner, and lipgloss all in one. I have it in Baroque and it's a flattering shade for everyday use. Has a very creamy consistency. The only downside is that it doesn't have a long staying power as the velvet matte lip pencil does.

I was fully expecting this lip gloss to be greasy and sticky and it is nothing even close to that. It is very smooth, long lasting and gives off a pretty gleam. I'm so enthralled with it that I purchased a backup in this color and I also purchased the color Hopi which works as a nice nude for my slightly pigmented lips. Love it!

The Baroque velvet gloss is an absolutely beautiful glossy reddish-pink. Looks amazing on my medium complexion. It is really glossy w/o the mess of a liquid gloss. It is also surprisingly moisturizing. This is such a beautiful color and texture that I am already online checking for the next color to buy :)
