Comments about essie grow faster base coat, .46 fl oz:
I use as a base coat with Essie or Deborah Lipman nail polish and it does help the polish stay on longer and stronger without chipping my natural nails. I do have weaker nails which is why I tired this and it does work. It's not a dramatic change but I did notice a difference after a few uses. I apply 2 coats prior to using polish. I like that it doesn't smell as chemically strong as Sally Hansen products. I always used to use very cheap nail polish and it is worth the extra money to buy better quality nail polish products. It does make a difference in reducing the chipping and peeling of my real nails, and it increases the lasting wear of the nail color itself. It dries matte without a gloss finish so I suppose it could also be used as a nail cover by itself too.
