Comments about Deborah Lippmann Glitter Nail Color, Today Was A Fairytale, .5 fl oz:
I resisted for a long time, but I finally decided to give Deborah Lippmann's popular glitter polishes a try. And now I get the hype. This is a beautiful nail polish: the silver glitter comes in various shapes and sizes, all embedded in a very pretty, yet faint, blue base (I should also add that I do not normally care for blue nail polish, but this one is so subtle that it won me over). After just two coats the effect is dramatic, to say the least...your hands and feet look like disco balls! (No, it's not for a conservative office environment, but otherwise the look is fantastic). Unlike other glitter/holographic nail polishes, I found that Today Was A Fairytale offered nearly opaque coverage in just two coats, and evenly spreading the glitter around was not an issue. If you want completely opaque courage, though, I would suggest three coats. Drying time was no longer than usual with a quick-drying top coat (which also smoothed the texture out a lot). I can also see this polish used as a gorgeous one-layer top coat to make any creme shade look special. This is one case of you get what you pay for - I am impressed, and this is coming from someone who generally avoids glitter.

Comments about Deborah Lippmann Glitter Nail Color, Today Was A Fairytale, .5 fl oz:
LOVE LOVE LOVE this polish.
I glitters for miles.
It is silver, you hardly see the blue so don't buy it for blue.
It doesn't need a base color. Two coats and you're good to go.
It stays on like a coating, which for me is great. Nail polish DOES NOT last long on my hands.
In fact, if it chips I just touch it up and no one is the wiser.
My girlfriends and I swear by this color.
Pros
- Dries Quickly
- Long Lasting
Cons
- Hard To Remove
Best Uses
- Weekly
Comments about Deborah Lippmann Glitter Nail Color, Today Was A Fairytale, .5 fl oz:
The color of this is beautiful and I get compliments anytime someone sees my toes. It can be a challenge to put on but I discovered that you just have to load up the brush and use small, short strokes. The upside is it doesn't chip easily and stays on FOREVER! The down side is it can be a challenge to get off. Just use lots of polish remover saturated on cotton balls. I hope to never be without this color!
