Comments about Deborah Lippmann Nail Color, Bad Romance, .5 fl oz:
I love how the color looked in the bottle. It is so dark when you put it on! One coat is enough. I wish there was just a little less black, or maybe more glitter. I have acryllic nails and have had no chipping trouble. This polish is very very hard to remove!

Comments about Deborah Lippmann Nail Color, Bad Romance, .5 fl oz:
This polish is gorgeous in the bottle and that is where the love affair ended. It applied OK, it looked good, but was chipping almost instantly.
I had it applied during a pedicure and manicure. I have acrylic nails and I have NEVER had a polish chip on acrylics in the 3 years I have had them, but this did. My toes usually last just fine the 2 weeks between my pedicures. This polish was half off by then.
To add insult to injury, as much as it chips, the glitter is very tough to remove with polish remover.
I would NOT recommend this polish in the least. It is awful.

Comments about Deborah Lippmann Nail Color, Bad Romance, .5 fl oz:
i love the way lippmann polishes have added massive glitter to their polishes in a unique way. i saw this color in a magazine and then did a search online and loved the way it looked on fingers. i have a few of the other shades with glitter and for some reason this one really chips easily. i haven't had that problem before with the glitter polishes. the good news is that its very easy to fix by touching up...you really can't notice where you've reapplied. but you do have to do this often if you're a girl on the go like myself.

Comments about Deborah Lippmann Nail Color, Bad Romance, .5 fl oz:
This is my first time using products from the Deborah Lippmann line and I really WANT to love it, but I can't. It's chips way too easily.
I do love the color. It goes on nicely, covers well, and comes off pretty easily considering it has glitter in it. The color is very rich, the polish is a nice consistency, and the brush offers great application. However, for whatever reason, the polish chips extremely easily off of my natural nails. I've tried several base coat/top coat combinations with it and it still chips. I try to be gentle with my nails on a regular basis, and I usually get 6 or 7 days of chip-free manicures with other polishes. (I usually use OPI brand but I also use a few drug-store brands as well) But for some reason I'm lucky if I get a full day out of my manicure with this polish. I even managed to chip it while sleeping. And when i say "chip", I mean large chunks of it peels or flakes off. I don't mind touching up a tiny scrape here or there. But I have to completely start from scratch because half the nail ends up bare.
I will still use the polish and try to find a way to keep it on my nails. However, I am extremely disappointed that it simply won't stay on, especially after the price I paid for it.

I am in absolute love with Bad Romance! I had been looking at swatches of this for a long while, trying to decide if I wanted to get it or not. Pictures really cannot do this polish justice! You just need to see it in person.

Comments about Deborah Lippmann Nail Color, Bad Romance, .5 fl oz:
I got this as a treat for myself because I was tired of my gel manicure. So I ripped my gels off, and my nails were thrashed. Not as thrashed as they would be after acrylics, but they didn't look good. I liked OPI ink, but the bigger sparkles of Bad Romance appealed to me. I was concerned that it would chip since my natural nails are so soft, so I got the Hard Rock base/top coat too. Used together, i can get maybe 4-6 days of no chips on my natural nails. This, for me, is a miracle. Every other polish, I make it maybe a day. I'm impressed, and a Deborah Lippmann convert.
The color is dark, so if you put it on thin, you MUST use 2 coats. If you're inclined, you can brush it on a little thicker and it'll cover well enough in one coat,,but then it takes longer to dry. Chunks of glitter go on smoother than I expected, and with a topcoat, they feel smooth to the touch as well. Overall, a win.

Comments about Deborah Lippmann Nail Color, Bad Romance, .5 fl oz:
LOVE Deborah Lippmann products; this is a great one, too. My only complaint is that it is not quite as glittery as it looks in the photo. The color is very dark, and very dramatic, but with only a few specks of glitter. The good side; because there wasn't as much glitter as I expected, it did come off easier than expected.
