Comments about Jonathan Product Infinite Volume Shampoo, 8.4 oz:
The JP Volume shampoo that used to be sold was one of my favorites.
This new one is terrible. Does nothing - not only for volume, but for hair in general. Maybe it is one of those volume shampoos that you HAVE to blow dry with? I don't blow dry my hair. This stuff ended up being used in my footscrubber. That's pretty bad.
Too bad, because I am so disappointed the old v shampoo was discontinued, and now I don't ever want to try JP items of any kind.
I should have paid more attention to the other reviews, can't say i wasn't warned.

Comments about Jonathan Product Infinite Volume Shampoo, 8.4 oz:
Wow, such a disappointment. Both the shampoo and conditioner were ineffective on my hair. I found these at Marshall's (it's no wonder they can be found there now). To begin, shampoo has zero lathering capability due to the 'no sulfates'. Still, I've used other sulfate free shampoos that did a better job of lathering and with much better end results. You get to feeling you have to use a great deal of this shampoo to cover each strand of hair. Next, the smell. It took me a few days to figure out what was so revolting about it, and then it hit me. It's a pungent, cheap smelling floral reminiscent of a Bath and Body Works fragrance. Really, it's quite bad. Normally, I'm a fan of a subtle, lingering fragrance when it's good (such as a nice Balsam shampoo) but this one makes my nose angry.
When all was said and done, my hair felt like it had a slight residue on it. It felt conditioned, but something was off. My head is itchy after using these products, which tells me they don't rinse well.
I'm tossing them out tomorrow.

Comments about Jonathan Product Infinite Volume Shampoo, 8.4 oz:
For my thin hair, I have found this to be the best volumizing shampoo. It does take some effort to work up a lather, but I feel the end results are worth it. The scent could also be better, it is hard to describe. This shampoo is also great for color treated hair, it does not strip my color.

Comments about Jonathan Product Infinite Volume Shampoo, 8.4 oz:
This product does the opposite of what it says it does. And it makes me very sad that I can't buy the original volumizing shampoo from Jonathan that I got a year ago on this site. This shampoo is a white, watery consistency with a cloying scent. It lathers, I suppose, but rinses out more like a conditioner than a shampoo. My hair is immediately greasy and flat. It's a total waste of your money unless you have a tumble weed on your head that needs taming. They need to market this stuff as "moisturizing shampoo".

Comments about Jonathan Product Infinite Volume Shampoo, 8.4 oz:
I've been a fan of Jonathan Serious Volume products for many years until it was replaced by Infinite Volume, which sounds great. Major disappointment. This product does not lather at all, even with a second washing. After a few days use, my scalp felt itchy. I'm sure it was due to product buildup. The shampoo and conditioner do add volume, possibly due to the product buildup that never washes out of the hair. This product doesn't hold a candle to Serious Volume. Bye bye, Jonathan!
