The set is good value, however very disappointed.

My nails are very smooth, ironically the base coat just does opposite to what it claims, making my nails appear streaky other than smooth. The top coat does nothing to my nail, adding no shine nor making it stronger or chip resistant. The formula of polishes are quite watery. The entire result is far from expectation. Doesn't recommend.

This is a good way to try Lippmann polishes and products. The bag is cute and the pockets are a good size for polishes and other manicure goodies. The polish remover is good (comparable to zoya's). I like the basecoat, but the top coat bubbles on me. It is also a little difficult (stringy) to work with, but dries super fast and is nice and thick. The two colors are nice, classic options. The pale pink is feminine and work appropriate and the red is fun and classic. The samples of the hand cream are also nice. All in all, I'm glad I bought this set, because I've been anxious to try the brand for a while (I usually wear zoya, orly and opi polishes). I'd like to try the other top coat, but I wouldn't repurchase this one!
