I wanted a nice palette in which to de-pot my high-end lipsticks that don't have limited edition packaging. This palette is compact, yet has tons of room for lipsticks. A large well holds a tube of MAC lipstick perfectly, to give an idea of size. The smaller wells will hold about half a tube, and are also great for mixing colors. It's built sturdy, with a latch on front, and a thick sheet of plastic to separate the two sides. You can write the lipstick names directly on the divider, or use small stickers.
I was able to depot my MAC lipsticks, and send back the empty tubes to the Back To MAC program for some more free lipsticks (for ever 6 empties, you get 1 new lipstick). It helped de-clutter my stash and free up room in my vanity.
