Heavenly light smell of almonds. It is a light lotion, not too thick and absorbs reasonably well and quickly. Wish it cost a little bit less, but it is my new favorite of all the L'Occitane lotions.

I absolutely love this lotion. It absorbs very quickly and leaves no greasy sticky feeling, makes your skin glow with hydration, and of course smells as divine as the rest of L'Occitane's Amande line. I can't comment on firming benefits as being 31 and having been faithful to the application of body lotions since my early teens, I quite frankly don't need it.

Please do believe them when they list this as a body "milk". There is nothing thick about the texture - about the consistency of half-and-half cream - and it will pour right out of your hand if you don't hold it flat. I find it easiest to apply by putting no more than 1-2 pumps in my hand at a time and spreading it over both hands before applying to my body.

I also want to say that I disagree with the previous review stating that this is "very sparkly". If you are entirely opposed to shimmer then yes, skip it, as it does have some. But the shimmer is ultra-fine and not highly concentrated (though I do recommend washing your hands after application, as it does build up there over the course of applying to your entire body). You don't notice it if you're not looking for it. My husband doesn't like to hug or get too close to me when I "shimmer" because he's afraid of the stuff rubbing off on him, but its never been an issue with this lotion. So its either so little that he hasn't noticed, or its so little that he doesn't worry about it.
