The rather large head on this device and poor balance make it difficult to maneuver. Also I think the gap between the blade and the lower plate is a bit too wide and the blade angle is not quite right for a smooth, effortless shave. Be sure to pull your skin tight and don't be in a hurry if you use this razor or you will get a pinch that will leave a lump on your face that lasts for a few weeks as I did. I would apply for a refund if I could but I don't think that option is available. I am going back to my 1966 vintage Gillette 3 piece razor.
