The best thing about this cleanser is that it doesn't dry out my skin. It's nearly impossible to find an acne cleanser that actually doesn't dry the skin! I also have sensitive skin, and I haven't noticed any redness or iritation. That is a huge plus to me. I have moderate to severe acne, and I would say it has helped some. Has it prevented new acne from forming- no. However I have seen some difference. I would say if you have dry skin and mild acne it will probably work great for you.

I've been using this cleanser for about a year and it is wonderful. Thank you to Murad for recognizing that some of us still have to deal with some acne as adults!
Like all Murad products - this cleanser is gentle but very effective! I even use it with my Clarisonic for great results.
One thing - if you are into high-lather/foamy cleansers - this is not one.

I was skeptical of this product as I am to most products that say they fight acne breakouts. I am 40 and never had issues when I was young only in my 30's had I started having more issues, expecially at that time of the month. This product has calmed my skin down and I only breakout mildly and it seems to heal faster using this product. It also has anti-aging in it which I love. It doesn't foam up but you don't need a large amount either.

I have combination/sensitive skin. I get acne, I get dry patches, I get red spots where it's sensitive. Products designed for acne make the dry patches and redness worse. Sensitive products are great, but don't always keep the acne at bay. This product does a great job. I received it as a sample originally and liked it enough to purchase the full size product. It doesn't irritate my skin and I am not having nearly the acne breakouts I was - even at 'that time of the month.' It is pricey, but you don't need to use much. It will last a long time. I would recommend this product.

I first received this product as a sample size, and I am glad I did. Do not let the "expensive" price tag dismiss this product.
I have sporadic acne breakouts, even in my 30s, and I found this product to work very well with my combination skin. You can feel the cleanser working while you're cleaning your face. It is not greasy and a small amount goes a long way.

I have acne-prone skin , with peri-oral dermatitis, and I am also very sensitive to drying agents. I was previously using 4 different cleansing agents for different parts of my face to tackle each issue without drying out my skin or causing a sensitivity reaction! This cleanser seems to handle every issue in one bottle. I bought it to go on an overseas trip because I didn't have enough room pack my "high maintenance" skin care regimen. I was gone for two weeks and my skin has never looked better!
